We crafted a new brand positioning for DFS Banken, introducing them to the Netherlands. Since we live in a world where clone-like products are made daily, we lose the human aspect of our everyday products. Yet for over 45 years DFS artisans have made sofas by hand, therefore, heart. From this, Heartcrafted for Everyday was born, and we executed a launch campaign including a video, graphic visuals, and brand manual.
To sit cozily on top of the Dutch market we had to launch with a strong message. So as a sofa brand we told people “Don’t Get a Sofa”. Because passion and handcraft together don’t make a sofa: they make a lovenest, the best seats in the house for the game, an animal playground, and more. The sofa is the center of our homes and so much more than a piece of furniture so we treated it as such.
