‘The school where you make it’. That is how Aventus, one of the largest colleges in The Netherlands described itself and the motto that they came to us with.
Whilst they had the ability to give their students all the skills they needed to succeed in the real world once they enrolled in the school, they needed a helping hand in creating a campaign that could kick-start interest amongst their technology department and potential students who had not yet chosen their college.
Whilst their previous marketing efforts focused on the practical side of the training in the various related industries, we knew we had an opportunity to do something different.close
Technology is what keeps the world moving and evolving. It’s our most powerful tool that can shape and impact everything around us – creating progress, social change and advantage. But technology is just a tool. And as any other tool, it’s useless unless you have the proper knowledge to handle it.
This as our insight, we came to our campaign pay-off and idea for the campaign identity.
Aventus. Shape the world.
We know that the world is full of imperfections, and with Aventus we could make it that you can shape it into a better place.
With this as our leading insight and technology as our inspiration, we used old school internet graphics and graphical glitches as representation of the imperfections that the everyday world has, but ones which you can fix with the proper knowledge from Aventus.
With a target audience who spends their life on the internet and communicates in memes, short and witty copy also played an important role in making the proper connection with students.
From key visuals that encompassed our campaign concept completely and which were used to derive social posts and website headers from, to fun and interactive Instagram stories that were used to drive interest and click-through rates amongst the target audience – the platform we build around the Aventus. Shape the world. concept meant we could have endless interesting yet informed executions for all of the client’s marketing needs.
Pssst… the campaign video is in the works too. Check back here soon!
